In what manner He will come the second time?
a. His coming will be globally visible. He will come in the clouds of heaven. "Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be(Mathew 24:26, 27)." This means that His second coming will not be in secret. Where do you see a lightning? The answer is in heaven, so it means Jesus will appear in heaven when He comes, not in caves or anywhere else.
All eyes will see Him. Revelation 1:7 declares, "Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen." The wicked will die because of God's glory while the righteous will rejoice.
b. His coming will be heard globally. "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: hen we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord"(1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). There will be a shout and sounds of trumpets. The Bible clearly states that the dead are not yet in heave. They are now in their graves "sleeping" and waiting for Christ to resurrect them at His return.
c. He will come with great power and glory.. At His second coming, Christ will come as King of kings and Lord of lords. The Bible says, "For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels" (Luke 9:26). Can you imagine the power and glory when Jesus comes? This world will come to an end. All the unrighteous will die.
For those who make God their Savior and Lord, His second coming will be the glorious day of all earth's history. All our sickness, pain and sufferings will end. In fact, the Bible says that we will receive an immortal body at the blink of an eye when He comes. "Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality"(1 Corinthians 15:51-53).
I am longing for this blessed day. Are you tired also living in this world. Hold on and serve God and be prepared to meet Him when He comes to rescue us.
