Sexually Transmitted Diseases

STD or Sexually Transmitted Disease also called venereal diseases are transmitted by sexual contact with an infected person. People who have multiple sex partners are more likely to have STD.

Statistic shows that in every 4 teenager, one is infected of STD. We are living in an STD health crisis and it is rapidly increasing.

A research from the University of Texas showed that condom cannot fully protect from STD. It's effectiveness is only 70%. Oral contraceptive also increases the risk of STD since it decreases the level of nutrients absorption by the body due to estrogen imbalanced.

Smokers are three times to have STD than non smokers because the later are more conscious about their health and often avoid habits that can ruin their body such as having sex outside of marriage.

Genital Warts - soft growth like warts either in the vagina, anus, groin, penis or scrotum

Genital Herpes - itchy and burning in the genital area, discomfort during urination watery vaginal or urethral discharge, fluid-filled eruptions on genital

Pelvic Inflammatory Disease - pus-filled genital discharge, fever and abdominal pain

Chlamydia - Women: painful urination, pain during sexual intercourse, white vaginal discharge
Men: clear watery genital discharge

Candidiasis - painful urination, thick genital discharge, itchiness in genital areas

Trichomoniasis - Women: foamy, yellowish and smelly discharge, vaginal itchiness and pain
Men: clear urethral discharge

The best therapy against STD is prevention. Don't engage in multiple sex intercourse. Sex is intended only for married couples by God and sex outside marriage increases the risk of acquiring STD.
